The Funds for Children Foundation, established by Del Barnett in 2013, is a testament to his lifelong dedication to serving children and families. Del, who also founded New Horizons Ranch & Center, Inc. in 1971, devoted over 50 years to helping others heal, with a special focus on supporting youth in their emotional, spiritual, and educational growth.

As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (IRS taxpayer identification number 46-4382674), the Funds for Children Foundation is committed to serving youth in central Texas. Their vision includes expanding services and funding to assist children and families in need throughout the state.
